Sitting back and observing...

Our first Airbnb experience as hosts went well (as far as I can tell). Our guest seemed very happy and we got on very well together. One can hope this is a prototype of similar experiences in the future.
For about a month after buying a Kaspersky antivirus and security product, I kept getting (and still, on occasion, get) ads designed to entice me to click and buy the product. I am noticing the same thing happening for a program I bought last year to manage my stamp collection. Ads to buy the application pop up just about everywhere.
On the one hand, the appearance of ads for products I've already purchased don't bother me, because... well... I've already purchased the product. On the other, the marketer in me fumes at this poor use of marketing dollars. It makes no sense to ask existing customers to buy a product.
