Battening down the hatches...

Spent a good amount of time today over at Natalie's with Galina, painting.
The hall leading to the bedrooms is a real nasty piece of work when it comes to painting. There are seven door frames to cut around, along with a number of switch plates, all of which make the job quite time-consuming.
By comparison, touching up the kitchen cabinets was a snap.
In other news, after the Windows version of the Evernote executable failed to work under Crossover Linux, and after finding no luck with Everpad (theoretically an open source replacement for said executable that runs under Linux), I finally stumbled across NixNote, which is currently syncing my Evernote data onto my Linux laptop.
The Crossfit place wants a doctor's note clearing me for exercise. I appreciate the concern (even if it is principally driven by self-interest), but I was sort of looking forward to starting the week with some early morning exercise.
I have an envelope that must be duly postmarked, come hell or high water (the latter of which is promised). Hopefully, approaching weather will not make the roads impassable tomorrow.
Cheers...
