I've always found reviewing translations to be a chore, but one that invariably leads to a few corrections, which is why I persist in the practice.

It's not as if I redo the translation. Basically, I read what I have in English to make sure it makes sense and is grammatical, and I check over specific numbers and things of that sort (names, titles, etc.). Generally, I'm so fresh from doing the actual translation that a number of issues pop up their scrawny little heads (e.g., "operations in place" should be "in-place operations") as I'm doing the check.

The second item I checked tonight (which was done first and is almost twice as long as the other item) is gone. Sent. Delivered.

That just leaves the short Web item that was supposed to be done "sometime in the next few days." I shall try to weasel out of opening the store tomorrow and instead finish that piece and get it sent. We'll see how successful I am.

The prediction calls for more translation this week... I say let it pour!

Cheers...

I usually catch myself putting on a couple of extra periods at the end of sentences. You can't review too many times in my opinion. :)

Yeah, most of my corrections are periods and commas, too.

Afterward, however, well... there comes a time when you have to say good-by to baby and send it off into the world.

Cheers...
