Brexit or Remain?
Jun. 22nd, 2016 09:52 pmI have no skin in this game, but I'm going to predict that the Remain side will win, but not by any great margin.
If by some chance the Leave side wins, I'm sure the side that's loyal to the EU will find a way to do an EU-style end run to nullify it.

Date: 2016-06-24 03:59 pm (UTC)I will confess to not having followed the issue closely, but it sure did give the impression of "we're going to keep holding referendums until we get the right result!"
Still, a few days ago, a headline ran past my eyeballs about something that UK politicos might attempt to do to, in effect, nullify a Leave vote.
Politicians are a crafty bunch. :)

Date: 2016-06-23 08:24 pm (UTC)If I'd registered a few months ago I could have voted, but it felt wrong since I don't live there. Back then, leave didn't look like a likely outcome. Now, it looks like it will be a close thing I wish I'd voted - for purely selfish reasons. I want to have the option of retiring/living anywhere in the EU, and not be limited to the UK.
