Short night...

Galina and I sleep in different beds, mostly because I have a tendency to move around a lot while I sleep, while Galina is very sensitive to external influences such as noise and being jostled. So whenever we do sleep in the same bed, and whenever I do wake during the night, I feel obligated to be particularly careful in the way I move, even though in the end, it's what I do when I'm asleep that wakes my bride.
I've been up for an hour and managed to make some written morning journal notes, figure out how to configure aurelius to work with a big screen that's part of the setup our hosts have graciously offered me, and start some necessary SpiderOak One downloads, which are taking altogether too long, now that I cast my eye in that direction. I shall give this 30 more minutes, and then slog on, regardless.
Outside of a couple of online file deliveries I plan on making before we leave the Washington, DC, area, the goal for the day is to drive up to New York City, meet up with Natalie and Kyle, and go on out to the house on Long Island.
Part of me is asking, "How hard can that be?"
The cynic in me is replying, "Watch!"
The optimist in me is telling the cynic to crawl back into his hole, because today is going to be a great day!
Cheers...
