The hardest part of the day was getting no sleep the night before. Everything went well, there was some middling-good news from the liver biopsy (my interpretation) and what I understand to be a genetic analysis of my cancer, and Galina and I got home around mid-afternoon, whereupon I lay down and well-and-truly fell asleep.

I'm up, now. :)

How many treatments to go?

Touchy question.

Oncologist hints that the chemo may not be effective, which is why I'm scheduled for scans before the next session.

And even if the chemo works, keep in mind that it basically represents a poisonous chemical compound that is intended to kill the cancer before it kills the rest of me, so it will depend on how my body responds. I seem to recall the number 10 being mentioned as the full course of treatment.

Keeping fingers crossed.

Cheers...

Hope chemo takes care of the issue.
