Memories... as in SDLX

alexpgpIt's hard to say how far I got yesterday with the one and only job that's on my plate right now (and due in a little over 7 hours). The SDLX translation memory software shows I am a little over halfway through, though a count of physical pages shows me as having finished 10 of 24 pages.
One thing that distressed me while processing another document in SDLX is that any Cyrillic in the target (translated) text is dealt with poorly (each letter is replaced by a question mark). Documents intended for NASA consumption are rich in Cyrillic, especially abbreviations. So... I may be faced with a nightmare when it comes to looking at the complete translation (it may take an hour or more just to replace all the '?').
* * * I just got off the phone with the client. The work is extended to tomorrow morning at 9, though I am sure I will be able to complete it by, say, 8 pm tonight.
Another phone call followed close on the heels of that one, offering me a rush job for tomorrow morning. I declined.
Yet another phone call came soon after, offering me the "Thursday telecon." I accepted.
The phone seems to have quieted (it always does that when you turn it off :^), so now I can get to work.
