It's "my" hour to listen to the S/G loops and interpret. I'm working with Olga F., from California, who is a very pleasant and knowledgeable lady.

I got to work a bit late, the consequence of misjudging just how long it would take to get here, offset by a strong desire not to attract the attention of quota-hungry traffic cops. I'd slept poorly, though for a stretch my sleep was sound enough to miss Lee and Dwayne coming back home.

While I have reservations about leaving Dwayne in the house, those reservations are of a significantly lesser magnitude than leaving Lee here too. I've explained to Lee what I expect in terms of rent from Dwayne, but I honestly doubt he'll pay any part of it. Most certainly, if I have to pay off any utilities, which are still in my name (and probably unwisely so), I'll do so and terminate service.

I have got to quit hemorrhaging money.

I'm going to have to call Lee later on in the work day and talk to her about our departure. I'd ideally like to leave at the crack of dawn tomorrow, but even if we don't we cannot really afford to leave at noon, as that would require us to do the middle-of-the-night driving deal, which I'm not too keen on at this time.

One of the essential pieces of information to flow from the ground to the ISS this morning was the results of the quarter-final matches in the World Cup. Korzun and Treschev appear to be the prime consumers of the news, and seemed more interested in the overall makeup of the final four (for the semifinals) than in the fact that the U.S. was knocked out of the competition by the Germans by a score of 1-0.

It's been quiet so far during the hour.

Cheers...
