To the tune of Alberta Bound, with feeling...
Oh the city lights are burning bright, the humid wind
is a-moving in, tomorrow, hey!, I'll be Pagosa bound.
Throughout I've done the best I could, the chow's okay and
the pay is good but tomorrow, hey!, I'll be Pagosa bound.
No one-eyed man could ever forget the Rocky Mountain sunset,
it's a pleasure just to be Pagosa bound.
I long to see my next of kin to know what kind of shape they're in,
tomorrow, hey!, I'll be Pagosa bound.
Pagosa bound, Pagosa bound, it's good to be Pagosa bound.
Pagosa bound, Pagosa bound, it's good to be Pagosa bound.
Oh, the skyline of this Houston town is something that won't let you down,
but they say you've got to live here for a while.
And if you've got the cabbage, man, you'll not live like a savage:
there's every kind of thing to make you smile!
Though it's smoggy in the city and the streets are brown and gritty,
And I know there's pretty girls all over town,
But living fast is not for me and the one I left behind me
is the reason that I'll be Pagosa bound.
Pagosa bound, Pagosa bound, it's good to be Pagosa bound.
Pagosa bound, Pagosa bound, it's good to be Pagosa bound.
It's good to be Pagosa bound.
Man, am I homesick, or what?
Cheers...
