I doubled up on the melatonin and had a reasonable meal about one hour prior to retiring yesterday afternoon, and took a hot shower immediately before hitting the sack at around 3:30 pm. I managed to sleep uninterruptedly until 7:30 pm and then fell in and out of consciousness (mostly in, methinks) until 10:30 pm, so I ought to do pretty well tonight, despite having put a severe kink in my sleep schedule last night.

My partner for the next couple of weeks will be the irrepressible Olga P. (not to be confused with the lovely Olga F., who was heading back home this past weekend).
