After six reboots...
Sep. 24th, 2003 08:16 pmWell, I found out what the malfunction was with the translated file. The bottom line is this: one should not muck around with the tags that DVX intersperses in the discombobulated text. (I thought I had a good handle on the subject; apparently I was wrong.) The job is sent, and I have spent a delicious several minutes compiling an invoice for the past few days. It's a reasonably nice payday, too, especially considering how - in the rush-rush-rush of incoming and outgoing files - I managed to almost lose track of one of the assignments.
Almost.
It's nearly a quarter after 8 and it occurs to me that Galina is still not home. I'm calling the store as I type this, but there does not seem to be an answer. Hmmm. Now trying Drew's number...
Not there, either.
I'm going driving.
Cheers...
