alexpgpThat between the last 2400 words of yesterday's environmental job and the first 1600 words of today's aerospace job... that's another 4000 words! (If I could somehow keep that up... well, the paychecks'd be sweet, but I'd probably go nuts.)
Anyway, I only just realized that it's dark outside and that the store has been closed for over an hour. I've come to a convenient stopping point in the new translation, and figure I can probably finish the job on Saturday, leaving me more-or-less free on Sunday (although the job due next Friday looms).
During breaks in the day, it became evident that most of the newsletters, etc. I subscribe to have been bitten by the April Fool's bug, and even more evident that I am rapidly migrating toward the "humorless" end of the spectrum as I grow older.
I finally got a call from the Dish Network folks. Someone's coming by tomorrow to install the new equipment, which means that by this time tomorrow, if all goes well, it'll be addio! to DirecTV.
