Desperately seeking connectivity...
Oct. 14th, 2004 07:35 pmI still can't connect from the hotel room. Generally speaking, this is not be a show-stopper, but is sure is a pain in the buttocks.
I came home on the Yonge Street subway line, and came back a stop after overshooting my destination. The walk back was not bad, and I had dinner at a perfectly marvelous place called Sushi Gardens. Their sashimi plate was absolute heaven, and the sake was perfect. Afterward, I walked across the street and took my pick of three tapioca tea places located within a 100-meter stretch of Yonge.
To work! Despite the fact I'm at the 24-hour Internet place around the corner, so to speak, they don't do email attachments and their computers are optimized for English, Korean, and Japanese keyboards. I need to do some last-minute stuff on my Runet presentation.
Cheers...
