An early start...

It was a good thing I decided to sleep in the spare bedroom, else I would probably not have found the summons I got in February in time to go down to the courthouse this morning to plead guilty and pay an additional $19 (court costs) on top of what I owed. The whole process took an hour, if you count the fact I showed up a half hour early in an attempt to pay the fine before court convened.
FWIW, Moleskine paper doesn't tolerate fountain pen or gel ink very well, in the sense that it both types of ink can be read from the other side of the paper (indeed, fountain pen ink will occasionally bleed through the fibers). The Miquelrius paper, on the other hand, is pretty opaque to ink. From the point of view of convenient use, however, the Moleskine beats the Miquelrius in that it will lie flat on a desk for reference.
The goal for the day is to finish the rest of the geology project. After that, we shall see what we shall see.
Cheers...
