Just when you thought the day was over...

Invoices!
The invoices are done, despite having overwritten an invoice whose content I could not recall. OTOH, at least I'm up to date.
Deliveries!
I had a delivery due at 5 pm. The delivery is done... as of about an hour ago... my first late delivery in... a long time. (I put together an email, but forgot to hit 'Send.') I assume no harm is done (had they called, about 30 seconds of, um, thinking would have led me to click the mouse in the right place and send the files for immediate delivery). On the one hand, this is not a chronic problem for me; on the other, even as a non-chronic problem, it's annoying.
Head start!
I only became aware of the previous problem because I started on the item due Friday. The TM file contained a spelling mistake, which is pretty rare. It was a mistake in a sentence that was supposed to have been sent to the client (so in a way, it was good I hadn't sent it off, as I did correct the problem it before actually sending the file, which involves its own set of self-doubt and insecurity, but it was the only problem the spell checker could find, so I'll postpone the self-flagellation for some later time). In the end, I've a 400-word start on the document, and feel pretty good about my ability to do do 3000-3500 words tomorrow.
Of course, Tomorrow may have other plans. He may be pitching.
Printouts!
I've printed out the sheets for proofreading. Now I need to actually do the proofreading... and buy another ream of paper. Both items will be done later... today. (Heh.)
Must sleep.
Cheers...
