alexpgpFor the second day in a row, I finished my self-imposed quota before 4:30 pm. (All that means is that I'll have to be doubly careful when I review the job.)
As variety is said to be the spice of life, I alternated between looking for bank statements and washing laundry and dishes for the "rest" of the afternoon. (I haven't decided if that's a pun, or whether it is intended if it turns out to be one.) That period came to an end around 5:00 pm, when I went into the store to relieve Drew so he could take Huntür home.
I am currently consuming an ersatz surf-n-turf dinner (lamb and shark, which has got to be some kind of first). It is my intention to finish the geology text tonight, leaving me tomorrow to check the text, send it off, invoice it, and then turn to packing for the trip to Albuquerque. If I leave by 1 pm, I ought to get there by 6 pm if I take my time.
I am probably underestimating what has to be done by about half. We'll see.
