alexpgpApparently, IBM is withdrawing OS/2 Warp from the market as of today, and support for the operating system will end at the end of 2006.
Indirectly, OS/2 is what got me to Pagosa in 1993 (I was the product manager for Borland C++ for OS/2 and was caught up in the big December '92 layoff at Borland, after having reserved a vacation in Pagosa for January). OS/2 was also what kept us going in 1993 (I worked as a consultant for IBM).
Time enough to reminisce later. Right now, I have to get ready to go in to the store. Galina is already in Albuquerque (I hope).
