On the BP front...
Jun. 17th, 2006 03:58 pmI've noticed, while measuring my blood pressure in the mornings before taking my meds, that my "ambient" pressure is down: where it'd have been already nearing 140/90 in the morning a few months ago, it's been hovering around 125/82 in the morning lately.
This is due, in my humble opinion, to my recent need to have to bicycle everywhere I go, and what amazes me is that I'm not really putting in a lot of exercise: a typical trip to the store takes less than 20 minutes, and my total exercise for a day will mostly consist of a one-way trip; sometimes two.
As a consequence of the lower "ambient" BP, I've taken the initiative to reduce the dosage of my meds, and for the second day, my "mid-afternoon" pressure has been a nice, steady 113/70.
Cheers...
