alexpgpYesterday's computer "fast" was not the easiest thing in the world for me to take - in fact, late last evening I fired up proust and did a little browsing - so I'm not surprised that upon arising this morning, I jumped online hard.
The day basically started with the receipt of an email from a translation company seeking translators for a long-term collaboration. The message wasted little time getting to the point:
Some clients.
Some prospective clients.
But it's going to have to simmer just a bit longer. <grin>

We are expecting a high flow of work in the coming moths [sic] and would like to expand our data base with TALENTED linguists.When I caught myself thinking, "Man, I'm so happy this outfit isn't like all the rest of those companies that are looking for INCOMPETENT linguists," I knew that I was one straw closer to writing a long-envisioned piece on dealing with clients.
