Let's try this again...

Yesterday's plan was to visit a couple of places and then light out for home before noon, but between this shopping center and that one, it was very nearly 2 pm before we understood that we were nowhere near ready to leave for home, so we took advantage of our hosts' proffered hospitality and stayed another night.

We brought the ingredients for last night's dinner (or at least some excellent ahi tuna, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream) and had a fine repast.

Now that Galina and I are much more sensitive to how fast time can pass when you're driving around this area, we ought to be able to depart for home in a workmanlike manner in an hour or two.
