The feeling seems to become more acute evey time Galina and I part company. I spent the day servicing a small translation, then had the best of intentions with respect to exercising and getting some back-burner work done, but it never happened. What I did learn is that Shiloh can be very immbile once she has found a comfortable spot in which to lie down.

One factor of interest is my having turned off the satellite television service for six months, since after Houston, Galina (and perhaps Your Humble Servant) will shortly be going to New York to take care of the property there, and although we will not actually be gone for six months, the satellite people only let you pull this trick once per year, for up to six months, so I went ahead and put in for the maximum hiatus.

What is interesting about this break is to see how "itchy" I might get about what have come to be my favorite shows. Castle will be broadcasting the second part of a story that may—or more likely may not—intensify the tension between Castle and Beckett, and if there is a show I may try to finagle watching, that'll be the one.

Maybe there's something worth watching on Netflix.

Cheers...

I don't watch much TV, sometimes not at all, and sometimes just watching programmes that I have bought on DVD. The first couple of months that I decided that I wasn't going to spend so much time watching TV [I know that isn't why you're doing it] was very hard, but then I discovered how much free time I had now that I wasn't watching TV all evening and I'm really glad that I don't watch TV much anymore. At the moment I am watching only one show, and that's 'Glee' because my 12-year old daughter is in love with it and wants my company.

Safe travels.

Well, if I can't finagle a visit to my son's house next Monday night, there's always iTunes (they'll sell me an episode for about two bucks).

I suppose I've gotten used to being able to lie down and select something that's been recorded on the DVR, but that's been turned off as well.

There's always Netflix. ;^)

Cheers...
