It was good to see so many people stop by our "unit sale" and buy books. This way, at least I got the tangible feeling that someone else will read them and enjoy them. I was happy to note that I only experienced "seller's remorse" for only a handful of books, which I quietly put back in the car.

Unlike yesterday, a unit a few doors down from us was open today and doing what we were: selling stuff. And on the way to McD's to pick up some coffee this morning, I noticed that there were quite a few sales being advertised on signs near the Country Center (where the McD and City Market are located). On the way back, I noticed there was a humongous yard sale set up between the Pagosa Brewery and a neighboring restaurant.

Fortunately, enough people were left over in town to constitute a group of customers.

We got back around 5 pm and had dinner. I decided to take it easy this evening and go full tilt at the remaining 5,000 words due tomorrow night (which should not be too hard, considering there are some tables of data in the section left to translate).

The extent of my hassle with the upgrade of my iPad to iOS5 so far is having to login with a number of services (e.g., Dropbox).

Apropos of which, one of the big deals with this upgrade is the availability of Apple's iCloud service, which gives each user 5 GB of cloud storage. Thus far, as I understand it, this storage is limited to those pesky settings that I found iTunes could not back up (e.g., calendars, contacts, logins, etc.). The ability to store one's media in the cloud is apparently slated for later this month, and expanding one's storage capacity to, say, 50 GB will cost, if memory serves, about $100 per year (which is what Dropbox charges, if I am not mistaken).

Apropos of which, box.net is offering a permanent 50 GB of storage for free to iPhone and iPad users just for signing up with the site (which I did late yesterday). I'm not at all sure what the "official" reasoning is for doing so, but my first impression is that the offer will appeal greatly to Dropbox customers, especially those who have been hanging around at the free 2-GB account level.

Enough computing! Time to hit the rack.
