Is it really Monday?

Today was one of those days where things went pretty smoothly until about the middle of the afternoon, whereupon I began to think it was Tuesday, which would not be a Good Thing™ for more than just the reason of having lost a day somewhere.

Deadlines loom ('nuf said).

Then again, I did get some invoicing done, which is never a downer. Unless there is nothing to invoice, in which case, I suppose I wouldn't be invoicing, but now I realize I'm starting to channel Abby Sciuto, a fictional character who appears on NCIS, so besides gradually losing my marbles—though I seem to recall I never owned any to begin with—I'm really digressing... (and to think I wrote that with no assistance from mind-altering substances should give one pause...).

Where was I?

About to go downstairs and have a bite of dinner before settling down for the evening, that's where!

I must be in a good mood.

Yesterday I also had a feeling that there was Tuesday, not Monday :)) Maybe this is because previous week Monday was a holiday in Russia, and working week started from Tuesday.

I can never keep Russian holidays straight. It seems they come in bursts, like bullets from a machine-gun, in May and November.

Yep, you're right))) But it is rather in May and January, because in November we have only one holiday, and in January we have whole week of the country-spread vacation :-)
