Software funnies...
Jun. 2nd, 2013 10:45 pmI downloaded and tried out something called ClipMate and was very impressed with the program's capabilities. The application is a "clipboard manager" that basically maintains a database of the stuff you've put on your Windows clipboard and let's you do a lot of different things with it. What it does not do, unfortunately, is handle Unicode in any kind of rational manner, and since a good chunk of the stuff I do online involves non-ANSI character sets, I uninstalled the program.
I hadn't really planned to do a lot of work today, but having about 20,000 words drop onto my plate this past Friday afternoon sort of lit a fire under my desk. I've gotten through most of the stuff I need to get out of the way before tackling the big job, and hopefully, things'll stay quiet for a day or two to let me take care of it.
Cheers...
