'nutha day...

The dogs finally decided to come home yesterday, a few minutes after 6 pm. Individually. Sasha came back first, splattered in mud. Then Ming arrived, sometime around 7:15 or so. They seem none the worse for wear. My mood improved considerably as they came home.
The other day, after noting that all of the fares from Durango were too expensive for my taste, I decided to look further afield, and found a flight from Farmington, New Mexico that would take me (after two connections) into L.A., so I booked and paid for the flight. The tickets arrived yesterday via FedEx. It would appear that one additional casualty of 9-11 is the curtailment of e-tickets as a mode of ticketing, though I cannot say I feel much safer for it.
I nailed some of the low-hanging fruit on my to-do list yesterday; I hope I shall be able to tackle some more substantive items today. Six days are left before I leave for the ATA conference in Los Angeles, and I really, really want to have a finished presentation by the time I leave. The conference is a major annual schmooze opportunity, and I want to maximize my exposure time to potential clients while I'm in L.A.
Cheers...
