An offer she couldn't ignore...

I got a call from Galina's broker in Houston today. She was looking for Galina to tell her that an offer had been made on her one-and-only listing. I told her how to get hold of Galina, and then got called a few minutes later by Galina herself.

Apparently, she needs to stay at least a day, maybe two, to get the deal to the point where the bankers and title companies take over. So... I'll be working like crazy for the next few more days.

The files I was sent turned out to be not so bad. The two short files were indeed short and I took care of them in under half and hour. The longer file looked and felt a lot like the monster I did last week, but I'm getting used to the terminology now, so it went faster. I just sent it off a few minutes ago.

John (Huntur's other grandpa) and Josh (John's son-in-law) went fishing today and caught a nice string of trout. Mmm. They were good.

Urm. I'm yawning. It's late. I think I will reward myself for having done all these translations (one more came in today to take its place in line, but it's not due until the 24th) and hit the sack early. Maybe have a Campari and soda as a nightcap.
