'twas the same-old, same-old today, except more of it. I spent the whole day, pretty much, at the store catching up on two day's worth of UPS packages (plus some that came in after the pickup on Wednesday). It made for a lot of work, and the rest of the usual crew was busy serving a horde of customers.

The season is upon us.

In other news, a short translation came in for tomorrow morning, and it's done. All I need to do is track down some terminology having to do with projectile damage to glass (actually, I don't... I think the translation is good to go as it is). Nonetheless, I am curious about the phenomenon in which a projectile striking a plate of glass from one side causes a bell-shaped cavity to appear on the other side of the plate. I know it happens, but it occurs to me that I'm not at all sure why that's so.

So I'll give myself about 30 minutes tomorrow morning to find out. It may help the translation, and it certainly won't hurt.

Time to go recharge my batteries. There's nothing good on the tube, and the most recent of Fred Reed's missives has me thinking of vacationing in Mexico the next time that theme comes by on the fretboard (talk about your basic non sequitur, eh?).

Cheers...
