An easy day...
Dec. 9th, 2002 09:49 pmAlthough getting the car yesterday was a fairly trouble-free experience, driving it from IAH to Pearland was fairly stressful, not only because of all the other cars on all sides as I drove down I-45, but also because of the rain, which continued today.
My training session went well, today, but the overall volume of work was limited to the morning. I stopped by the client's office to pick up my schedule for the rest of the week, and was surprised to find the office closed, temporarily. It turned out everyone was attending the company's annual holiday luncheon, so I sort of invited myself over and spent a pleasant couple of hours with some old friends. My schedule, BTW, calls for sims pretty much the rest of the week.
I owe the editor of the SlavFile a column forthwith. I also need to go check my email, which doubtless has been accumulating in my absence.
Cheers...
