More TWiki...
Apr. 26th, 2003 05:47 pmThe problem with the GnuSkin was not with either the GnuSkin package or TWiki, but with the Konqueror browser, which is what I use when GUI-ing on evdokia. I reinstalled GnuSkin and edited the appropriate page (TWikiPreferences) from my Windows desktop, and everything went well.
Except the system kept thinking of me as a "guest" instead of recognizing my logged-in status. A look at the documentation indicated that installing the SessionPlugin might help, and it did.
The only main problem is that the new skin steals some screen real estate from the left side of the screen, so I had to redesign my ContactInfo page to fit into a narrower space.
It's weird now, looking at WikiWords in an LJ entry and not seeing either links or invitations to enter something in a topic.
Ah, well... time for a walk.
Cheers...
