More TWiki...
Apr. 27th, 2003 08:26 pmSort of a lazy day. I learned some more TWiki and implemented the following:
a standard "form" for translation jobs to capture essentials
a summary table that displays one line per job
a to-do list that allows entry of new items and displays a summary table of existing items
Galina and I also did some work in the garage, clearing away some of the clutter that we had allowed to accumulate (with the help of the kids, which tells you just how long it's been there!). In any event, the garage now has some open square footage.
I started to take Shasha... um, Sasha for a walk somewhere, but the place where I intended to go (a Forest Service road west of town) is further than I want to go; I drove as far as Cat Creek Road, turned down it to pick up some rocks, and then went back home.
I should have chased more paper today, but comfort myself with the rationale (rationalization?) that what I did today will be helpful in the future.
Galina leaves for Austin on Wednesday, or maybe on Tuesday night, I don't know (she says she wants to stop in Albuquerque for a couple of hours on the way down, which is bad for two reasons: (1) Albuquerque is not really on the way, it's an hour - maybe two - out of the way, and (2) Pagosa to Austin is a hard enough to do in one day to begin with). Having written those two sentences, I think a Tuesday departure makes sense. (Of course, one can always be late for the AMPC show in Austin, too.)
Anyway... I've spent enough time at the computer for the day, although I must admit, though I haven't grokked so much new techie material in a while, and it's good to feel the old synaptic paths burning in again as I get deeper and deeper into the TWiki software.
Cheers...
