Relaxing...
May. 3rd, 2003 08:24 pmTomorrow, Shannon, Huntur and I will go to Denver to pick up Drew. While on the one hand, this means my stint at the store without Drew or Galina is over, what's more important is that I've been missing both of them pretty much.
I decided to take a few hours off today and put off starting on the remaining translation job until Monday morning. Today, I had Jody come in to help at the store while I sat in the back and edited the contract.
I came home, watched a little HBO and thought about something that I read today on a Wiki site called Green Cheese, about how TV gives rise to a "hypnocracy." An interesting site, and it apparently uses a different implementation of the Wiki concept.
Talking about the Wiki concept, my own attempt at seeing how a collaborative space might work is up and ready for viewing (albeit I haven't tweaked the basic installation much at all). It's at my new domain at The Springsboard. Feel free to drop in and dip a toe or two in the TWiki world, but understand that there's no content there yet, per se.
It'll be an early start tomorrow, so I should probably go to bed early. Especially since the wind has been howling like the proverbial banshee all day, and the mountains are again obscured by dust.
