A deeply depressing Sunday...
Nov. 2nd, 2003 07:43 pmThe day started with every intention of getting a lot of stuff done, but the first thing I did was to turn over for a few minutes more shuteye, which turned into another hour and a half of sleep.
Then I just couldn't stay focused on anything until about 3 pm. Conversations with my mother and Galina didn't help with my mood, either, nor did the weather - a dreary, cold, intermittent rain.
I've been working on my presentation, and I can see a clear path to the finish. I had been considering some kind of live demo during my presentation (e.g., use my Windows VAIO to talk to the Linux eSlate, maybe do a TWiki demo), but I'm not sure there's enough time to polish something along those lines. Screen shots may simply have to do.
There appears to be a modicum of repetition among the three files being done for my main Houston client. Specifically, there are some tables that appear in all three documents, albeit they are not identical. This reminds me: I need to take some time to check over the work due tomorrow morning. (I am loathe to do it now, with the juices flowing for my presentation, which - by the way - is this coming Friday at 1:45 in the afternoon.)
's what I get for allowing myself to be sidetracked.
Cheers...
