A nice day off...
Nov. 27th, 2003 08:19 pmI slept in this morning until half past nine, which is very nearly unheard of, but there it is. The day went by lazily, with a 2 mile walk in the morning, a nap in the early afternoon, and a DVD titled Fulltime Killer (Natalie's choice) while the turkey was in the oven.
I'm afraid I may have gone off the Atkins regimen today (with the stuffing and fruit), but not very far. Galina has started the Induction phse, or so she says, but I'm afraid today must have been a trying day for her.
There is no scale in the house, so I cannot weigh myself, but various blood pressure devices seem to pretty consistently read below 120/80 without me trying to particularly relax or rest; and this is the second day I've taken a dose of BP meds that's lighter than what the doctor prescribed (hence the reason for measuring the BP).
Surprisingly, Hollywood Video was open around 6 pm and Natalie went there to pick up some new flicks. We just finished watching Bulletproof Monk, and Natalie is trying to coax the old (cheap) player to play one more disk. Good luck.
Cheers...
