Another 3K kinda day...

Actually, it's more nearly a 5K kinda day, when you consider that my main client threw a small rush job at me, which I sort of did "in between" everything else going on in my life. I have a little under 9000 words left in the big project, and I think I'll check the rush job tomorrow morning, when I've gotten a good night's sleep under my skin.

There is nothing remarkable to note. My noticing that the wind picked up earlier this evening while I was trying to take a nap is about all the speed I'm able to muster away from a computer screen. Tonight should have been Natalie's last final for this semester, and I expect her home shortly.

Somewhere in between all the rest of the madness, I managed to watch Hollywood Homicide, which I found mildly disappointing, as Harrison Ford seemed to be merely going through the motions for most of the flick, the plot of which then turned pretty sappy ('nuf said).

Then there was Sex and Lucía, a Spanish film that makes a point of showing a lot of naked flesh in the context of a curious look at the life of a writer of novels and his girlfriend. To be frank, I get the feeling that something whizzed past the top of my head as I watched the film, but that's about par for the course for me.

Hey! It's not even 10 pm. I think I'll unwind for a bit, at least until Natalie gets home.
