I can feel it.

I've been combating something that is trying to give me the sniffles and a headache with vitamin C, which seems to be holding the bugs at bay, at least for now.

The rest of the day turned out pretty decently, the highlight being the arrival of both second-day air packages from Houston, which between them held the content of my gray carry-on. It turns out I was fairly fortunate in not having left behind many desperately needed items. (This raises the issue: If they're not desperately needed, why am I dragging them along? All of them?)

I also managed to put paid to a number of the "A" level to-dos for the day (there's only one left undone), while fattening the old bank account and laying translations down on phosphor.

The weather yesterday was barely conducive to my walking home from the store. (Indeed, perhaps that walk is the reason for my sniffles today?) The weather today prohibited anything of the sort, except for polar bears. I have thus cleared out the back room of the "in-law suite" that Drew and Shannon lived in down here and set the Nordic Track up in the middle of the room.

Ideally, I'd like to play Spanish tapes or watch some kind of recorded television while exercising, the doing of which normally bores me silly. If I can't look forward to some kind of diversion, it'll be hard to keep exercising.

In fact, I think I've spent enough time at the computer for the day. I believe I'll go next door and see what can be done in the exercise department, then go upstairs and spend some time with Galina.

Cheers...
