All I am is tired, all the time.

Fortunately, the client offered to off-load the last document from me. I snapped at that quicker than a trout hitting a mayfly in spring. Of course, I haven't heard back, but I'm almost too far gone to care.

The good news is that I did finish the second item that I had scheduled for yesterday, which only places me a couple of thousand words behind the eight-ball for the rest, but since the client's offered to take it back (and I've accepted), I am actually, um, finished. Sort of.

There's the job that arrived yesterday that isn't due until next Wednesday. It's 4200 source words, but 1200 of them are numerical tables.

However, I really need to stop thinking about work right now, and concentrate on collecting some items that Galina'd like to see, cleaning up a bit around the house, and then going out to Ramon's for dinner with the kids before setting off tomorrow for the Lone Star State.

In the meantime, I've been applying copious quantities of Armor-All to the vinyl surfaces inside the Honda, and have vacuumed the rugs until my wrists hurt (not that hurting one's wrists does any good). I've also been taking a closer look at the outside, and have come to the conclusion that perhaps it would probably not be worth the money to repaint the vehicle. By that, I mean to say a simple $199 Earl Scheib repaint job just won't do... there's dings that likely need un-dinging, surface work that needs to be done, stuff like that. Inside the car, I keep finding more and more small yet noncritical items missing.

Time to maybe go down to the store to look for some of the stuff Galina wants.

Cheers...

So I figure if I keep the inside reasonably neat, then the outside can act as something of a theft deterrent (nobody is going to steal this car for its looks, believe me!).
