I am mentally in countdown mode, with four days of work and a wakeup before departing for home. In the meantime, of course, it's work, work, work.
The fun part is going to be invoicing all of it, which I better do, and soon. In fact, a couple of jobs better get invoiced before I depart for work tomorrow morning.
I started some action with regard to the ATA Conference in Toronto this fall. Now I need to follow up with some phone calls to get people to commit to doing presentations. I'm leaning toward doing one on wikis, and should probably do another one that's related to Russian. But what?
That's something to sleep on.
Talking about sleep, that enterprise was elusive last night, and I don't know why. The home stretch (think of it as the last two hours before the alarm goes off) was particularly fitful. Interestingly enough, I find that the oh-dark-thirty trains that go by a couple of hundred yards from here with whistles blaring don't really bother me (and never really have). Heck, half the time, I'll bet, I don't even notice them.
It's late. I think I'll go rest my eyes before engaging in the serious work of sleep.
Cheers...
