A baker's dozen...
Apr. 21st, 2004 03:59 pmThat's how many radiograms were in the inbox when I arrived for work this morning. Two remain undone as I write this, but I need a break, so I'll get to them in a few minutes.
The movie Timeline that Galina and I saw the other night broght to the fore a question that I had flirted with several times before: if I were to find myself suddently transplanted from the 21st century United States to, say, somewhere in the French countryside in 1357, what possible skills and knowledge do I have that would be of use?
I may formulate and post an answer when I have some time to think this through. My initial impression, though, is that my knowledge and experience are not "optimized" for such radical shifts of environment.
How do you think you'd fare?
Cheers...
