Ops Plan just released me, so I'm free as a bird until... tomorrow.

Today's workload was very light; Olga and I took care of it before her shift ended, and I've spent time dotting i's and crossing t's since then, reviewing old radiograms and generally keeping out of trouble.

Galina, Natalie and I went to see 13 Going On 30 last night. It was a pleasant film, but missed a great opportunity as far as story is concerned (leaving something of a gaping hole after the part after Jennifer Garner's character "comes back"... that would have been interesting to see!).

Anyway, daylight's burning outside (even though it's probably still raining), and a definite possibility exists for me to join the ladies in a sushi dinner, if I get a move on.

Cheers...

Instead of finding a sushi place, we ended up eating at a restaurant called Buca di Beppo (if memory serves), a nice place over on Buffalo Speedway, serving food family style. Jessica, one of Natalie's friends, works there, and we managed to get seated where she could serve us. The food was quite good. We ordered garlic bread topped with mozzarella, lemon chicken, and some absolutely heavenly green beans. (The chianti wasn't bad, either.) Among other events, Natalie made due note of my good mood.

Coming home and doing invoices was like having a second dessert (we had chocolate cannoli at the restaurant). I've pretty much caught up to date with the process, I think.

Cheers...
