After a good start on Saturday with the HVAC document, I fell behind on Sunday, leaving almost 12,000 words for yesterday and today. As I found it difficult to fall asleep last night, I decided to get some more work done, translating at 2:30 am, lying on the bed in my old bedroom.
Even that didn't exactly expedite my quest for shuteye, as I got about 1,000 words done before the battery gave out.
I got back into form today, however, finishing the document just short of dinnertime, although I still have yet to check the text (a little more than 24,000 words). That gives me about an hour this evening (although I am really feeling the lack of sleep right now).
As for tomorrow, my dad's hospital appointment is at 6 am, which ought to give me about 2-3 hours for checking the document between dropping him off and picking him up after his operation. I figure I have until between 9 am and 10 am my time to deliver (and of course, the earlier, the better), so probably most of my checking will take place tomorrow.
And after that, if I read or write about air ducts, fans, fire ratings, elevator shafts, or heating, ventilating, or air conditioning systems anytime in the next foreseeable future, it'll be too soon.
Cheers...
