More of the same...
Dec. 7th, 2005 12:20 pm...but different!
Those macros I posted the other day came in very handy in reworking a translation in which the original had been revised with revisions on. It's always interesting to see just what kinds of craziness the revisor went through to get his or her final product, and then to try to duplicate it while translating the content.
I then came to find out that my main login doesn't work any more (it went bye-bye due to inactivity back in October), and that the whole application process has to be repeated. Interestingly enough, my secondary login continues to work and although the account is supposed to expire this weekend, it's entirely likely that some few minutes spent at my client's office applying for a renewal of the account this morning will prevent that from happening.
Upon returning to the room, I punched out a couple of invoices that provisionally make me happy, seeing as this is only the 7th of the month. (It is also the 64th anniversary of Pearl Harbor day, but I digress...)
I should probably be going to sleep in the next few minutes. I have to get up "early" tonight to go meet with our behind-in-his-rent tenant and set up a schedule for him to get back on track. The alternative is not pleasant to contemplate.
Cheers...
