Better, then worse, then better...

It's been a seesaw all day. Galina delivered me to the store this morning, where things went more or less swimmingly until early in the afternoon, when I started to feel puny. Upon closing the store, we skedaddled home to be on hand when Shannon's folks came by with an extra bed for us to use. After that, Natalie and I raided the City Market for all sorts of stuff for a dinner tonight, after having first put a roast into the oven. Upon coming home, I took a nap (I think... I don't actually recall falling asleep).

The kids oughta be here in a little over an hour, I hope. By that time, the elbow grease that Natalie has been applying around here ought to be apparent and all the goodies ought to be on the table.

I don't expect I'll have an opportunity to post again today, so to all who read these words, I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season.
