I started the day by biking to the store and from there, walking to the Lodge for the ham breakfast. The new chef at the Lodge seems to know his stuff, but the cost of the food is somewhat higher. I had the "basic" breakfast instead of, say, the huevos rancheros, for about the same price.
After a brief stop at the store to print out the French documents (my inkjet at home is on the verge of running out of black ink, again), I biked home and started to translate that material. After a nap in the afternoon, I biked back to the store for the 4-to-6 shift, and finally, biked back home after closing, which I think is the first time I've done two round trips from the house to the store in one day.
Galina called in the morning. While there's not much that can be done over the weekend in Houston, there's also not much to be accomplished by driving home to spend a few days before heading back to Texas. I've got work to keep me "company"; it's tougher on Galina, I'm sure.
As usual, there's nothing on the tube. No matter, it's time to go to bed anyway.
Cheers...
