Noon already?
Jun. 7th, 2006 12:20 pmThe document sent to me as a series of semi-legible JPEGs is done and gone. Unfortunately, it took very nearly 6 hours to finish, between yesterday and today.
Through it all, the idea of commissioning a special "Illegible" TrueType font kept breaking the surface. Actually, three such fonts kept coming to mind: "Extralight" (where glyphs only hint at what the character might be), "Ambiguity Light" (where glyphs such as "B" and "8" and "S" and "5" look identical), and "Ambiguity Soft" (where glyphs are so blurry, there's no way to distinguish, say, "i" from "l", "e" from "o", or "t" from "f").
Well, at least the stuff left on the plate is legible. (How easy it is to please me!)
Cheers...
