Not ready yet...
Jun. 25th, 2006 08:26 amBut we're close!
Mike and Karen invited us out to the Dogwood a couple of nights ago, and we went over to their place afterward for some more wine. It was as if nobody wanted to split up for the night, but we're not of that age where we can get away with pulling and all-nighter and keep on going.
Last night, we had dinner with the kids at Ramon's, followed by coffee at High Grounds. I passed the "Roots" notebook into Drew's safekeeping so he and Shannon could peruse it for likely names for the boy.
I spent a restless night. Galina says she didn't sleep at all. It will be an interesting day.
Upon conclusion of this post, I will tear down the router, etc. at the house. It may be a while before I get "normal" access, as the Webster house - I am told - is not set up even with rudimentary phone service.
However, that's too far into the future to worry about. For now, we be (almost) on the road again!
Cheers...
