A fast, slow day...
Sep. 5th, 2006 06:42 pmA couple of short, yet challenging translations came in today and were dispatched quickly.
My elation at having found the documentation for the missing deposit was dashed by the fact that I was one day off, and the documentation for the proper day has... problems associated with it. Thus, I am back to square one unless the whole thing is actually a clerical snafu somewhere.
Today's virus scan uncovered a number of infected files copied from Borg (and thus, written to DVD). The good news is that the files are in an out-of-the-way directory that nobody should ever have reason to access, but I'm still debating whether to trash the burned DVDs and burn a new pair with the offending items deleted.
The paper chase goes slowly. My heart just isn't in it.
I am well and truly depressed.
