Decks are clear!

My invoices for the translation work and the onsite support are going out in the background as I begin to write this post. The combined total puts a fairly significant dent in my monthly "nut," which makes me happy. (Hey! December has, like, hardly started!)

Then again, booking this work in December takes it out of November, which makes that month look sad, but I'm not going to dwell on these kinds of details right now, though it does underscore a need to come up with a better measure of how I'm doing, jobwise, than the simplistic month-by-month scheme I've adopted "by default."

But hey! I'm going on vacation - I think, as I really don't remember what a vacation is, per se - in just a couple of hours or so. I've got to boogie!
