The exchanges on the simulated space-to-ground channel have been fairly routine in nature today, but there have been a lot of them, on various subjects, and the crew and control room seem to be going out of their way to be prolix, repeating just about everything at least twice. The good news, at this point, is that we're an hour out from the end of the sim.

Work next week looks pretty thin at this point, to the point where I can't really justify renting a car. I've still got the 12,000-word document due Monday, which is why I've not jumped on an offer to do an additional 2500 words for Monday (in addition to a certain wariness about the work load, I find that my enthusiasm in working for a client that pays for work somewhere after 90 days of invoicing is rather moderate).

I've got to work on not being such a grouch in the morning (or, at least, some mornings). I also need to walk the walk and spend more time with the dog. Maybe once I get home from the sim...?

Cheers...
