Still not on the road, but close...

I started this post about two hours ago, and the subject is still valid, though I am closer to leaving now than I was then.

I've planned what to take, where to go, and so on, which is unusual for me. We'll see if it makes any difference.

A run of 600 miles ought to put me somewhere in Alabama when I call it a day.
