Anderson, Indiana
Oct. 14th, 2007 04:30 amYesterday ended up being an 800-mile day, putting me 100 miles ahead of the pace for getting to Colorado.
I also ended up changing my route home: instead of taking I-80 over to where Colorado juts into Nebraska, and then heading toward Denver, I veered south onto I-69 soon after crossing into Indiana, with the idea of staying at a pet-friendly Motel 6 in Anderson, and then joining up with I-70, which will eventually bring me to Colorado Springs and, eventually, home.
Shiloh's been a trouper, and it occurs to me that she's driven with me nearly 1/4 of the way around the planet. Right now, having just been fed her morning meal, she's begun to whimper about going outside. Time to go.
Cheers...
